China Nerin Chairman and General Manager Wu Runhua Visits CHEC
On June 5, Wu Runhua, Chairman and General Manager of China Nerin, led a delegation to visit China Harbour Engineering Company Limited (CHEC) and held talks with Bai Yinzhan, Chairman of CHEC. The two sides conducted in-depth discussions on deepening substantive cooperation, strengthening project collaboration, and jointly exploring overseas markets.

Bai extended a warm welcome to Wu and his delegation, introducing CHEC's development history, core business layout, and overseas project operations in details. He noted that CHEC has been deeply engaged in the global contracting engineering sector for many years, accumulating extensive experience in overseas engineering construction, market resource integration, and cross-border project fulfillment, with its brand influence reaching numerous countries and regions worldwide. He highlighted that China Nerin possesses prominent strengths and an excellent reputation in non-ferrous metallurgical engineering technology, mineral resource development, and full industry chain engineering services. Given the high degree of business alignment, strong complementarity, and broad space for cooperation, he expressed hope that both sides would take this opportunity to continuously deepen regular communication, broaden cooperation areas, innovate cooperation models, and promote substantive and effective implementation of all cooperative initiatives.
Wu expressed gratitude for CHEC's trust and introduced China Nerin's business layout, core technologies, and international market development. He stated that China Nerin has long been deeply engaged in specialized fields such as non-ferrous metallurgy and mining development, possessing full industry chain technical solution capabilities and extensive overseas mining project experience, with its international business maintaining steady growth. Currently, both sides are focusing on the intensive cultivation of overseas markets, sharing highly aligned internationalization strategies, common development philosophies, and complementary resource advantages. He expressed anticipation for both sides to fully leverage their respective professional strengths and resource endowments, establish regular collaboration mechanisms, go global together with coordinated empowerment, continuously enhance international project fulfillment capabilities, jointly explore overseas markets, and achieve win-win results and coordinated development.
During the meeting, the two sides also discussed the ongoing Zulti South Titanium Mine Project in South Africa, for which CHEC serves as the EPC general contractor and China Nerin is responsible for the main engineering design. They had in-depth exchanges on advancing project construction progress, optimizing and upgrading technical solutions, coordinating construction efforts, conducting full-process risk prevention and control, and ensuring subsequent implementation. They systematically reviewed the key points and difficulties in project advancement, clarified phased promotion goals and coordination mechanisms, laying a solid foundation for the efficient, high-quality, orderly, and steady advancement of the project.
Xu Huajiang, Deputy General Manager of CHEC, along with relevant heads from the Technology Application Center, the Electromechanical Company, and the Market Development Department, as well as relevant heads from the Mining Business Unit and Beijing Branch of China Nerin, participated in the meeting.
